Your own Business Coach

Lawrence Training offers confidential coaching services for managers, executives and others who have been recently appointed, promoted, or who are simply interested in career development and increasing personal and professional effectiveness in their job role.  Lawrence Training’s coaches have worked with individuals and teams from all types of business and at all levels within business.

Coaching can be an effective means of achieving personal and team growth by reviewing performance and decision making, obtaining feedback on personal impact and exploring options for change.

In addition, Lawrence Training offers full psychometric profiling services as a means of raising self-awareness and evaluating effectiveness against key leadership competencies.

Coaching will contribute as much to an M.D.’s performance as it will to a salesperson, team leader or department head.  It knows no boundaries in its capacity to engage at the personal level and contribute to the unique contribution each of us can make to our chosen work or profession.
Coaching works for teams as well as individuals.  It will deliver additional value in helping to create a team spirit.  This is how to fuel enthusiasm and therefore performance in your workplace

One of Lawrence’s consultants will meet with you to form a working relationship, agree your objectives and establish the best means of meeting them.  The first meeting is without obligation and, if both parties are happy to proceed, a plan of meetings at locations and at a timetable to suit you will be mutually arranged.  In most cases face-to-face meetings are the most effective means of providing support, although these sessions can be supplemented by telephone or audio-visual conversations if required.

Call Pam now to set up an initial short meeting, with no fee and no obligation, to find out how coaching could help you or your people

Psychometrics

Self-discovery can greatly enhance performance!

A full psychometric process for an individual would involve a preliminary briefing prior to the completion of the questionnaires, completed and returned by post, analysis and completion of a full written profile based upon strengths, limitations and areas for possible development.

  • The report is tailored to the requirements of you, the client, i.e. in respect of leadership, team membership, etc.
  • The report can also be written to reflect your likely strengths and limitations against specific competencies for a role.
  • Written psychometric reports are based upon a cocktail of questionnaires including 16PF (personality), OPQ (managerial/professional norms) and Firo B (how people behave towards others).

An alternative to the written report is to use the FIRO questionnaires, which can be used during a workshop type event either for working teams or individuals on development events.

  • The range of tools Lawrence Training’s specialist uses include Firo B (as above) and then Elements B, F and S which are extended models used to explore three dimensions of interpersonal relations.
  • These include detailed explorations of behaviour (B) based levels of inclusion, control and openness in relationships, the link to feelings (F) based around an exploration of Significance, Competence, Likeability and the link to self esteem (S).  Additional Firo tools include a team compatibility model and feedback mechanism.

They can be scored on the day to avoid the need for a separate feedback day.

Call Pam at Lawrence Training now for a brief consultation with no fee and no obligation to explore how psychometrics can further your and your team members’ self-discovery in improving performance.
