Lawrence’s background is in senior management in retailing with C & A, Myers (Australia) and publishing with Reed International and United Newspapers. He has also run his own successful businesses in Australia.  Lawrence focuses on team leader/supervisor/first line manager programmes.

Cathy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a qualified coach.  Over many years Cathy has held roles of HR Manager and/or Training manager in several companies, one being a large national training company.  She has subsequently specialised in leadership and management development, focusing particularly on personal effectiveness.

Her training carries an important practical edge because of her experience in being a manager.

David’s wide experience in retail business management at a senior level is highly valued by Lawrence Training's clients.  Since 1993 he has worked with international and UK organisations from many sectors (public and private) to facilitate organisational change, to improve the effectiveness of management teams, design and deliver senior and middle management development programmes and coach individual executives.

For over 20 years Bill has successfully helped people and businesses to develop and grow through training, consultancy and coaching.  He has achieved this success in one-to-one sessions as well as at conference presentations where the audiences are often numbered in thousands. 

During Bill’s early career, he rose to Director level in the publishing industry running large commercial, marketing and advertising sales teams within a culture of setting and achieving targets.  His topic areas cover commercial business areas: Management, leadership, motivation, marketing, sales, negotiation and customer care.

Sue has over twenty years’ training and consultancy experience in both the public and private sector and has worked with a wide range of organisations.  One of the areas she is most passionate about is Leadership and Management Development. 

Her work covers the ‘people skills’ areas such as Leadership, Performance Management, Management of Change, Customer Care and Equality and Diversity.  Sue has seventeen years’ experience as an Independent Investigator/Mediator and she is licensed with the British Psychological Society to administer, interpret and assess Occupational and Psychometric tests.

Nigel’s background covers the hospitality industry and a heavy involvement in training and development since 1988. 

His style is very interactive with lots of delegate participation.  Nigel trains trainers to deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ courses!  He is also involved in licensing training managers and HR professionals to deliver their own programmes in-company.
