Course Trainers
Except for our Course Director, Lawrence Pollitt, all of our 12 trainers are associates who run their own training businesses. This has massive benefits to you in that we are able to select the trainer who specialises in your chosen subject area, so you are getting information at the cutting edge, that's bang up to date. For example, if you require Employment Law training we recommend to you the trainer who represents organisations at Employment Tribunals (who is also an excellent trainer!). Similarly, if it’s working through issues with a senior management team, we bring in our consultant who specialises in working with senior teams.
Lawrence’s background is in senior management in retailing with C & A, Myers (Australia) and publishing with Reed International and United Newspapers. He has also run his own successful businesses in Australia. Lawrence focuses on sales skills and team leader/supervisor/first line manager programmes. Delegate evaluations frequently mention Lawrence's relaxed, fun yet professional manner.

Lawrence Pollitt - Course Director
David
David’s wide experience in retail business management at a senior level is highly valued by his clients. Since 1993 he has worked with international and UK organisations from many sectors (public and private) to facilitate organisational change, to improve the effectiveness of management teams, design and deliver senior and middle management development programmes and coach individual executives.
Helen
Helen focuses on Communication Skills, Management Development and Team Building. Her previous career in sales management, her MA (Management Learning) and her experience in management training since 1990 give Helen instant credibility with her delegates. Delegates comment on Helen’s fun and interactive style of training.
Gill
Gill has a BA in Accountancy and worked at the Midland Bank (now HSBC) for 7 years as a Manager in a variety of departments. Gill delivers financial courses as well as a host of Management Development programmes with tremendous enthusiasm and panache.
Nigel
Nigel’s background covers the hospitality industry and a heavy involvement in training and development since 1988. His style is very interactive with lots of delegate participation. Nigel trains trainers to deliver ‘train the trainer’ courses! He is also involved in licensing training managers and HR professionals to deliver their own programmes in-company.
Lynn
Lynn has been a consultant/trainer in the field of HR/Employment Law since 1990 in providing help and advice on employment law and personnel issues to a whole host of companies as well as representing organisations at tribunals. She has developed a highly involving, practical and pragmatic training style. Delegates respond enthusiastically to Lynn's ability to deal with their 'live', current issues during her programmes, as well as her skill in making what could be a dry, boring subject sound interesting!
